Where is our Councilman for this District..........Wailuku was once our main town but is now just a simple town compared to Paia which was just a simple sleepy town, Kihei which was just another simple town, Makawao, a place out of reach for us locals and Lahaina a town that was a place that we locals would visit just for the ride.
I remember Wailuku with its mom an pop stores and the river was full with algae and tadpoles that we use to swim in. Now the river is dry no tadpoles, oopu and shrimps that we use to catch. Wailuku will never redevelop with all the other entities that the other towns have because what is there to do here.
Do away with all of this Historical bull and just let Wailuku be Wailuku. I can't even tear my dilapidated building without getting a special permit from the MRA......This is bull *&#$%@ ....
